What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?
Confluence is a fantastic tool for document management and sharing the artefacts effectively within the team. It provides excellent capabilities to edit the document, create templates, and various types of Dashboards. One may leverage the calendar feature to maintain the team level activities like birthdates, leaves etc. Integration with collaboration tools like JIRA and Rally helps users to manage software requirements and supporting documentation at ease.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Limiting the access of the documents to specific people as per the need basis is an excellent capability provided by Confluence. This way one can restrict the un-authorized access of the files and retain security.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The search results sometimes populates result set with items which has nothing to do with the search text provided. Given one has to scan through the results one by one, there is an extra capacity spend on striking these off and looking for relevant documentation.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Overall Confluence is a very good tool for all type of organization due to cheaper license costs, effective document management. Integration may not be that effective with Microsoft suite but there are plugins which can help achieve this too. Capability to leverage various plugins helps create effective dashboard that can reflect good information in terms of team's performance, roadmap, etc.

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?
Confluence helps users to document all the technical detail, project related FAQs, SOP and POC documents all in one place and also enable them to be shared with other teams in the organization.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It saves a draft of the document by resumed so that even in case of accident no work is lost and it also saves historical versions of each page so that they can be reverted back if required
What do you dislike most about this product?
Ability to add custom attachments or applets would be good to have
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
A great documentation tool which offers beyond the usual core features and helps make the whole process much more easy

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?
Confluence has changed itself very much from the we were using , every time it has updated itself and now has become internal part of any company. Everything related to projects , people , documents can be very well maintained. shared among desired people . It helps in maintaining transparency within the organization / project level. This is a wonderful product because it can solve all your business needs and problems.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We can upload any kind of document and share the same with anyone . Especially the notification part , which keeps everyone updated.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Not at all , everything is is place with confluence
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Perfect product for any kind of company small, mid , big . The kind of features it has to offer is complete and robust. Atlassian's tools have identified all user issues and delivered it accordingly !
