What differentiates BambooHR from other similar products?

There is an insane amount of benefits to using BambooHR in our organization, but in general it comes down to the fact that it automates so much of our work and it creates a virtual space for all of our documents, onboarding tools, candidates applications, and so much more. Having all this information readily available has helped us save so much time and the ability to generate reports that are fully customizable to what we specifically need to see is also helpful. For hiring talent, it has become our number one solution we can create a template that we can post to many job sites in minutes, and it will filter candidates based on skills.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I think BambooHR does a great job in creating a system that is strong enough that it filters all the candidates by different abilities and things they lack or have, making it easier to find the best talent. I like that BambooHR has a strong interface that collects many features in one place, and I can do a variety of tasks on it without exchanging tools. The ability to track hours from all employees and see features like hours of vacation available and sick leave available at the same time in the calendar is really good because it allows me to have more organization in my daily workload.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As great as BambooHR is, I believe that it has some limitations when it comes to the full HR package, especially in hiring, the mobile app sometimes will glitch and I'm not able to see all the candidates' information, and there is no automation for 401k, there is not a calculator for pay estimates so that it can be easier to complete the payrolls, and when you have many employees, work can pile up really quickly and it becomes a hassle, so it would be a great benefit to have BambooHR improve these tools so that we can perform better as a company.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

BambooHR is really beneficial to businesses of any size, and I've been using it for quite a long time, the only recommendation I can give to people is to take the time to get familiar with it and make sure that the team is knowledgeable enough to understand all its capabilities, so that it can be scaled to the specific needs of your businesses, investing the time and money into understanding BambooHR can get you really good results in terms of hiring the best talent you can get out there.
