What differentiates ActiveCampaign from other similar products?

We don't have an enterprise CRM, but Active Campaign helps us keep track of all our contacts. Creating automated email sequences is very easy. It's very easy to add or edit contacts. The level of customization is incredibly stimulating. Also, being able to bulk tag particular lists is very convenient for me.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Thanks to Active Campaign, I can easily monitor the opportunities that come to my review business and receive reminders when I need to follow up with potential clients to see if they are still interested in submitting their work to us. Since I started using AC I no longer had the problem of losing track of clients and offers; Now I can see who's coming in.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Trying to locate the precise report/metrics I need has been a frustrating ordeal on ActiveCampaign, which is not the most intuitive platform I've used. Despite my frustration with the user interface, I am able to locate them after a little research.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

One of the best marketing automation platforms is ActiveCampaign. The deliverability has been much more successful than other systems I have used before. In addition to a wide selection of pre-made automations, they also allow you to design your own.

My favorite aspect of ActiveCampaign is its automation builder. It's visual, intuitive, and incredibly powerful. You can create smart, personalized customer journeys without needing a tech background. It鈥檚 like having your marketing on autopilot!

What do you dislike most about this product?

No, I dint dislike anything about ActiveCampaign

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Start Simple! Don鈥檛 get overwhelmed by all the features, begin with a few key automations (like a welcome series or abandoned cart) and build from there.

The other differentiation is ActiveCampaign鈥檚 AI-based automation and optimization. Its AI assistant supports advanced features like AutoSegments to automatically create customer segments based on behaviour and sentiment analysis. These AI-driven features allow marketers to apply advanced personalization techniques and optimise campaigns immediately without technical expertise or data-mining by hand.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

A main advantage is the platform鈥檚 proprietary AI-based optimization capabilities. Such as SMS send time optimization and recommendation of AI content, enable marketers to automate difficult processes and take action based on data. This not only saves time but increases the efficiency of marketing efforts by using machine learning algorithms to determine the right time, content and audience for each interaction.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is a limitation on reporting and analytics customisation. While ActiveCampaign offers great data visibility, dashboarding in it is not as extensible as some people would like. It鈥檚 not always easy to develop custom reports or visualisations based on your business requirements. That limitation can require using third-party tools or hacks to get the reporting granularity you need and it may also limit productivity.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Invest in training and continuing education for your marketing team. ActiveCampaign AI and deep data tools can bring impact, but only if employed effectively. Maybe hire some dedicated team members to be platform specialists that can teach people how to use it the right way in your company. Keep checking the roadmap and releases frequently to make sure you鈥檙e maximizing the platform鈥檚 new capabilities. Keep in mind, successful implementation is often times not just technical adoption, but also a marketing change to take full advantage of the platform鈥檚 data-driven, personalized customer-facing method.
