The workshop facilitated by Alex at Oakland County was very informative to those who attended as we embark on our first pilot projects using Agile. Since we do not have any measurable criteria for our pilot projects, I was unable to answer the above financial impact or time value. This workshop helped all who attended to better understand the methodology and start thinking about how the pilot projects could run. The exercises in the workshop were extremely helpful to put into practice what was just reviewed to better illustrate real life scenarios. All who attended enjoyed the layout & length of the class, pleasant demeanor of Alex as well as hearing about his actual exercises in an Agile team. This great workshop will get Oakland County well on their way to using Agile. As Alex led us thru the workshop, we did not even know that our feedback was helping to provide an Agile roadmap for the County as well as next steps which are VERY helpful. Overall, this was a fantastic training. It allowed our key project team members to level-set and reach a common understanding of Agile and Scrum. The training itself provided the appropriate breadth and depth of topics needed for us to more competently embrace Agile and Scrum. We were able to walk away with a very tangible roadmap of how to continue our Agile journey not just for this one project, but also to continue expanding it to the Program level or higher. I think the Excel template used for the Scrum simulation could be re-worked to make data entry and copy/pasting easier (eliminate the merged cells), but this was minor in the grand scheme of things. The hands on team approach was effective, in only a few weeks, we have formed our team, held our first backlog grooming and are well on our way to Sprint 0 using what we learned. Room for improvement - We came with specific questions (How can we step into Agile; how can we baseline; are there ideas about how to make it work in our environment) and we were show the same Agile blueprints that we had already downloaded/looked at. Great interaction and probing questions from Alex. Received some excellent advice and points. Happy with the session. No negatives.

The interactive exercise was the best. The worst part was the comfort of the chairs, but that is not something Infotech controlled.

No bad parts of the experience. Alex is an excellent mentor! It was an excellent workshop and I loved how people's mindset has changed within days.

Alex was able to keep our senior leaders engaged and provided good information to start off our Journery to Agile.
