One notable feature of Xperience by Kentico is its native integration of digital marketing, content management, and commerce into a single.NET-based platform. In contrast to many hybrid or headless CMS options, it provides: Development teams in Microsoft ecosystems find it very appealing due to its close integration with.NET Core. Personalisation, marketing automation, and analytics are all integrated into the All-in-One Architecture (DXP), which does away with the need for several separate tools. Adaptable deployment choices, such as managed SaaS, cloud, or on-premise.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The smooth fusion of Xperience by Kentico's usability for marketers and flexibility for developers is my favourite feature. I truly value the ASP.NET Core support, extensibility, and clean architecture as a.NET developer. In addition, the integrated tools for content management, personalisation, and marketing automation are strong and user-friendly, enabling non-technical users to manage content and run campaigns without the help of developers. This dual focus lowers bottlenecks in the delivery of digital projects and greatly facilitates cross-functional collaboration.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Xperience by Kentico has a very strong foundational offering, however, as it currently stands there are a few features missing that are commonplace in enterprise environments, like locking of content, staging environments, and better reporting. That being said, I do appreciate the transparency Kentico provides with their development roadmap and that there is a commitment to including these features. The platform is rapidly evolving, and their continuous improvement approach is reassuring that these missing features will eventually be available.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're considering Xperience by Kentico, I suggest knowing who within your team has technical strengths and how much content management your organization needs. I think there are organizations with capable .NET developers, that should adopt a Kentico Xperience-first approach. Xperience is built with ASP.NET Core and has great extensibility, so there's a considerable measure of technical available.
