What differentiates Trello from other similar products?
Simplicity and team collaboration are areas where I think Trello gives similar products a fight. Trello can be used by people who have had no experience using Project management tools, and on the other hand, its breadth of collaboration options include the ability to mention teammates using the @ sign, effective document sharing, and real time notifications on every aspect of our project management workflow.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love that every Task on the Trello software exists as a card, that can be broken down using checklists. This makes it a lot easier to assign task items to different team members with varying due dates. This granularity in task management enables efficient tracking of possible weaknesses in projects.
What do you dislike most about this product?
For project visualizations and tasks that are linear in nature, Trello does very well. However, it does lag behind when it gets to managing complex projects. As an example, there is presently no way for me to review iterations, create roadmaps on a whim or even embed tasks to sub-tasks.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Among the primary reasons why we have stuck with Trello is how easy it is to use for everyone . This is key for modern teams in my opinion.
Pros
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Security Protects
