What differentiates Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) for Visio from other similar products?

In my opinion , I can say that Visio has the broadest template library of any process diagramming / mapping software that I have had experience utilizing professionally. There is even the option for me to create my own customized shapes for use on Visio, which is not do-able on most other process diagramming software.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The quality of process diagrams I create using Visio is top notch in the area of visual aesthetic . I also have the complete freedom to export my finished process diagrams in different image and document formats, including Jpg , pdf and png.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Visio for desktop is only available on computer devices running the Windows operating system. The mobile app is only suitable for viewing diagrams and not ideal for creating diagrams . I have in the past encountered great difficulty in tracking changes made on process diagrams I am creating with my team in real time and this points to a very weak version control / history capability.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Collaboration is inadequate on Visio and commenting during collaboration can be a lot better. For intending users, they should put this in mind.
