What differentiates Symantec Messaging Gateway from other similar products?

Symantec Messaging Gateway is one of the most efficient products that Symantec has. It is easy to integrate and additionally has a lot of customization options for both rules and policies. Unlike its successor: Email Security.cloud, the Symantec Messaging Gateway can be purchased via a physical appliance or it can be done virtually.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The wide variety of options that the platform has for customizing alerts, policies or rules.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I think that while it can be achieved by means of other software. The on-premise tool does not have the ability to balance with another computer, so changes made on one computer are not automatically replicated on another computer.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The main thing is to make sure that the product meets the requirements of the needs that need to be solved.
