What differentiates Symantec Enterprise Cloud from other similar products?
It鈥檚 quick and it comes in one pack of services. It鈥檇 be smart for an average user. Nothing complicated. It鈥檚 a reasonable price. Easy to use. There are improved MDM features. It鈥檚 a trusted and established name. The program is straightforward. There鈥檚 an additional 60-day free trial obtainable which is great. It鈥檚 safe and I suppose that鈥檚 the most necessary part of this security program. The flexibility to secure end to finish protection. Our company (The Project and Client) deals with declassified patient information and that we need a protocol like this to make sure our data security and privacy. Easy storing multiple formats.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Simple interface and scalability to deploy multiple modules across your surroundings and centralized management console with smart integration capabilities. Multiple tiers of architecture methods give the flexibleness to deploy multiple detection parts within the heterogeneous environment and simple to configure fail over options. Best part is that the policy configuration framework provided in DLP with the ideas resembling policy groups which give isolation capabilities for policy application. Reusable sender/recipient patterns makes life easy for directors once there鈥檚 frequent modification in exceptions.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Difficult to configure and use, typically restricts us to implement our company specific workflows. Integration to different systems is difficult at times. Lack of compliance reporting which may be configured out of the box. Conjointly dashboards are often quite rigid. One needs integration with information insight for more elaborated incident analysis that comes with additional license and hardware requirements. Also, information on actual data profiles limitations for dynamic databases.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Extremely recommended for data loss prevention and protection requirements overall. Graded highly in business and quite capable to deliver your requirements. Do check out/consult current customers in your industry who are utilizing this product to understand their feedback. It is a great platform you should try.

The detection techniques are terribly smart, its ability to adapt to on-premises and cloud environments are wonderful and everything managed from one administration console. Symantec DLP 15.7 is powerful tool to prevent our sensitive information moving out from organizations. Additionally detection strategies were easy outline if you comparing to competitions. It鈥檚 quick and it comes in one pack of services. Nothing complicated. It鈥檚 an inexpensive price.Easy to use. There鈥檚 improved MDM features. It鈥檚 trusty and established name. Interface is straightforward and simple.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like however fast discover scans are. There are plenty of pros to this product, and because the product grows it continues to induce better. After you implement Symantec DLP you鈥檒l be able to step up from endpoint information security to an enterprise environment. You鈥檝e got detection server that add a strongest security and analysis of the data and also the solution is usually searching for the last technologies.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Support is a nightmare when you call in to get help trying to either notice the account you referencing or the technical experience isn't enough at that specific level that you simply have to step up the call to the next line of support causes it to take longer to resolve the difficulty and find it back up and running like it was supposed to be running to start with.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Cloud with wonderful performance, utterly integrated with many devices, and straightforward to use.
