AppDynamics can not only monitor across all of the different domains but also correlate those insights back to the business 鈥� applying context to everything so customers know where to focus.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It follows the user from the device, over the network, and into the application and underlying infrastructure.

What differentiates Splunk AppDynamics from other similar products?
Reduce effort chasing false alerts and managing alert storms, by more targeted alerting, related to customer/user experience. Prioritize genuine service degradation by using complementary synthetic testing with real user data. Reduce defects leaked to production by identifying, and resolving, degraded performance and errors in dev and QA environments, so code bottlenecks and errors are identified, isolated, and resolved before a release gets promoted to production.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Reduce tool cost by consolidating multiple siloed tools used by Operations, Dev, Test and the Business/Digital teams. Reduce capacity cost by optimizing existing hardware to support more users, transactions, and growth, by better understanding. Increase revenue recovery, by measuring every business transaction/KPI/metric, to understand 鈥榥ormal鈥� operations, alert on deviations, then pinpoint and fix application issues that are resulting in reduced revenue - before customer contacts to complain.
What do you dislike most about this product?
