What differentiates SecuPi from other similar products?
Uniqueness and salient features.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We can create as many variations for the Resource Access as we want based on the smallest granular level.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Low client issue support capabilities by the Secupi Support team. There were few discrepancies which come across my way whenever I work on new types of attributes to get encrypted. Like recently I faced this automatic removal of leading zero from telephone and mobile number columns, and we have connected with the vendor also for this issue but they didn't come up with a solution yet.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Before using this software for your business requirements, I would like to say please thoroughly investigate first whether all your use cases will be solved by this software or not because we were facing this issue later as soon as we were discovering new problems and deeep diving into them we faced a lot of problems using Secupi software which we have to handle in our code as there is no handling for such issue at their end.
Pros

What differentiates SecuPi from other similar products?
What really sets SecuPi apart, in my experience, is how it lets you protect sensitive data in real time without forcing you to rewrite your applications. A lot of other tools focus only on data discovery or static masking, but SecuPi鈥檚 dynamic masking, fine-grained access controls, and detailed user monitoring actually work together 鈥 so you get data privacy and compliance baked into your live apps. Also, its ability to sit on top of legacy systems and modern environments alike makes it flexible for companies that don鈥檛 want to rebuild everything just to get better data security.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite thing about SecuPi is how seamlessly it protects sensitive data without breaking existing applications. The fact that you don鈥檛 have to change a lot of code or rebuild old systems to get strong masking and access controls is a huge plus. It really saves time and headaches for both security teams and developers.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The biggest drawback for me is that the initial setup and policy tuning can get pretty complex, especially if you have a lot of legacy systems and different data flows. It takes some effort to get everything working just right without causing performance hiccups. Also, the user interface for reports and logs could be more intuitive 鈥 sometimes it feels like you need a technical background to get the most out of the audit data.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you鈥檙e thinking about using SecuPi, I鈥檇 recommend taking the time to really plan your deployment 鈥 map out where your sensitive data lives, who needs access, and how you鈥檒l set up masking and monitoring rules. It鈥檚 also worth investing in training your team so they can get the most out of all the features. And definitely run a pilot first, especially if you have a mix of legacy and cloud systems 鈥 that helps iron out any performance or integration issues early on.
