What differentiates Rally Software from other similar products?

It's best for Agile development projects It provides friendly useful metrics to the team Successor and predecessor relationship can be made between the stories. Multiple teams and portfolios can be handled on a single portal.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy to break up Epic to Features also user stories can be listed per feature. Provides real time view of the team work and where the project is heading from >Team Status View Using Agile Central from requirement management till chart generation and reporting.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Have issues with UI while using it on Internet Explorer or Mozilla Features with similar or common names are difficult to search Not all reports can be exported from the system. I often try to tag items to track them for a release. The release reports don't have an export button. In order to share what is complete for an upcoming release, I have to copy paste into excel.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I strongly recommend this to everyone who develop their products with Agile methodologies some of the recent changes moved some common items into less user friendly areas, sometime hard to find item - not always intuitive. While the software isn't very user friendly, it does help in tracking projects and tracking team performance.
