Onboard Reliable in Critical Time
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates OnBoard from other similar products?
We had faced one critical incident where an urgent financial report and compliance documents need to share just 1 hour before the board a board director meeting. Earlier we used to manage with email and Teams, but it always ended up in confusion like wrong attachment or someone missing the update. That time Onboard really made the difference, The updated files were uploaded instantly all the members got notified and the opened the latest version directly in the portal. This version control and security features is something I do not see in regular tools like teams.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite thing is how simple it becomes to handle meetings the agenda is already their documents are organized in one place, and members can highlight on the files itself. In that particular meeting some directors used the annotation option to ask questions on the financial sheet, so we did not waste time on endless discussion.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The only drawback I feel is the cost for a mid-range organisation the price is heavy compared to other platforms. We also use Microsoft teams it is around 5-6 dollar per user and slack 7-8 dollar per user/month. both are cheaper but they did not give the same board level features. With the Onboard the value is clear we used it in urgent scenario, but the monthly subscription feels higher than other tools.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If your organisation runs critical board meetings and you cannot afford confusion and delay Onboard is really a good choice. It gives confidence because of its security and its features. But my advice is checking your budget before going for it. For bigger enterprises the cost is justified for smaller organisation you need to balance the value vs cost.
Pros
- Caring
- Respectful
- Client Friendly Policies
- Acts with Integrity
