What differentiates monday.com from other similar products?
Monday.com makes the process of automating tasks a user friendly one. There are no advanced logic involved , rather automations can be customized and introduced into our workflow by just about anyone within my team. This ability to automate repetitive tasks helps to reduce the duration it takes to accomplish select project processes and isn't this the reason for project management in the first place ?
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Monday.com is simply easy to use. Asides from its navigational controls and menus which are intuitive to understand , there is also an extensive knowledge base of video tutorials , that makes it easy for a new user to get answers to most questions around the day to day use of the Monday.com platform for project management purposes.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Monday.com's connection with Microsoft Excel is very messy. At this point in time , there is no provision to export entire boards as a direct .xlsx format to an Excel spreadsheet without needing to tweak my spreadsheet properties.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The versatile nature of Monday.com makes it the favorite project management tool in my company.

Simple to use and set up but expensive.

What differentiates monday.com from other similar products?
It handles people and task management in a very simple and easy way. The ability to quickly change statuses and manage items across multiple users with very little lagtime makes it the top provider of its service.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect of this product is its API. While this is a feature not typically used by everyday users, it has been a huge benefit for linking Monday to existing databases and other services.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I think the webhook management could be improved to better manage all the different webhooks you can create on a board. Better naming and clarification over what the webhook is and what it is doing and what URL it is connected to.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would strongly recommend testing out the product and how it can handle your projects and then look to integrate it with other products or services as it handles cross-data really well.

Versatile project management tool with limitations

What differentiates monday.com from other similar products?
Monday.com offers plentiful integration capabilities. Monday's integration with business applications and tools that we are already using in the course of work , helps to speed up project management processes in my company, across departments.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Monday.com offers a variety of project management templates. The availability of these templates prevents us from needing to design our project management processes from scratch. From my few years of experience with Monday, I can simply say that there is always an available template for every workflow that we've introduced into our project management process.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Monday.com lacks machine learning or artificial intelligence capabilities, which happen to be a constant with newer project management platforms at this present time. Among the downside of this shortcoming of the Monday platform is the lack of predictive analytics in our project management processes.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Monday.com is awesome in project management aspects like tracking projects and all data around a project , from a single location.
