What differentiates Microsoft Project from other similar products?
Project Online increased the project management capabilities. This tool is useful for assisting with planning, scheduling, and project management. We can use any device to access these services. Keeping the entire work team up to date on the status of the tasks and any modifications that occur during the course of the project. It's a service that's part of a large software family, such as Microsoft's.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
As a portfolio level user, the solution allows me to efficiently see a large number of projects at once and readily connects to PowerBI for reporting and analysis. All users must have a high degree of competency and process consistency to use the full range of functionality and acquire quality data at the portfolio level, which is difficult to ensure in many organisations.
What do you dislike most about this product?
A complex user experience that can be customised according to the project management requirements. A lack of capability and resource planning can be observed. It is not possible to upload large files, and there are very limited options for generating statistics and visuals. It's quite difficult to understand, and there are no helpful tutorials available to get you started, which may explain why you gave up so quickly.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This software has all of the features we require for the development of our projects, including the ability to programme activities, distribute tasks, and analyse data and generate reports quickly and completely online.It is a tool that allows us to save time in project management by allowing us to go deeper into and view the details of each assignment.
