What differentiates Microsoft OneDrive for Business from other similar products?
Archiving of documents in a live and central location. Easy link share to other staff. Full audit trail on documents. Specific user access can be defined. Various file types can be uploaded with no issues to view or download. There is a wide variety of features available. Office 365 integration for efficiency. Two step authentication for log in.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I have used Onedrive for many years. I use the online file drives for archiving of documents and data. This allows me to access the files via the internet and download them as I need. I have found this to be very efficient in managing a large team. To share files in a central location for ease. I have not experienced any issues with uploading and downloading from OneDrive. It is easy to use and well laid out. I have trained other users with ease in how to use the system. I have used Onedrive to create an online, live Quality Management System.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I have not experienced any issues with the system so far itself, but I have found the customer service to be deficient and difficult to deal with. It is very hard to speak to a human if you are experiencing issues. It can take quite a long time to synchronise files.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
N/A - it is a very straight forward system.

What differentiates Microsoft OneDrive for Business from other similar products?
OneDrive allows for secure and seamless collaboration on documents. It is a fully compliant solution that provides the audit trail. Other notable features that stand out are real-time co-authoring, version control, and commenting that further improves collaboration. File explorer provides familiar windows explorer experience, so it feels just like working in the native windows folders. OneDrive supports information governance policies for data retention. Each business user on Enterprise plan gets 1 TB storage. You can ask Microsoft support to increase it to 5 TB providing the business justification.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Seamless integration across M365 productivity suite. Text from the images is automatically extracted via OCR and is searchable via Search box. This allows for searching for images based on the text embedded in the image.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It can be a bit of challenge to collaborate with external vendors when there is a really large file.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
When evaluating OneDrive for Business, take in to account the security and compliance requirements in addition to the user productivity. Think about business impact when a user's laptop is lost or stolen and all the files are stored locally on the hard drive vs in the cloud on OneDrive. OneDrive really enables Enterprise Mobility by empowering your users to work anytime, anywhere.
