What differentiates Microsoft OneDrive for Business from other similar products?
Fully integrated with MS Office, and Windows, works out of the box.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Aims at making collaboration easier by allowing resources to be shared easily. I love the fact that several people can work on a document at the same time.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Syncing does not always work in Windows 11, not always easy to share / collaborate with colleagues outside of our organisation because permissions seem to be randomly changed / revoked at times. Constantly changing / evolving, sometimes with what feels like little thought for how certain changes might affect end users. My pet dislike is that it makes a copy of everything before syncing / uploading. E.g. if you elect to sync your My Documents folder, it makes a complete copy of that first, then syncs the copy. It would be better to just sync the original, in my opinion.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It's a good product which comes with the backing of the Microsoft brand behind it. When rolling out, plan carefully to ensure a smooth implementation.

Microsoft OneDrive for Business is user-friendly and seamlessly integrates with Microsoft 365 applications, the Power Platform, and a wide range of third-party solutions outside Microsoft ecosystem.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Microsoft OneDrive for business works effectively for both technical and non-technical users. Its integration within Microsoft 365 enabling non-technical users to easily manage and share files with team members. On the other hand, technical teams use it as a file repository for applications and automation workflows within the Power Platform, as well as a data source for Power BI desktop.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The OneDrive for business user interface requires more advanced organization capabilities and file search functionalities. Also, the synchronization with 365 desktop applications can sometimes be inconsistent.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
While OneDrive for Business effectively addresses the needs of most business use cases, it's super important to evaluate the synchronization speed, especially when considering more complex workflows or advanced automations on 鈥嶱ower Apps, 鈥嶱ower Automate, or any other service.
