a backup must be needed whichever linked on this software

I am not sure it is safe but if a webapp available that would really usefull.

What differentiates Microsoft Authenticator from other similar products?

It works on IOS and Android,handles personal + work accounts. You can add many accounts (non-Microsoftas well)for 2FA

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

High security assurance because it uses cryptographic TOTP or push/biometric,it is far more resistant to whisking or replay attacks than SMS or email codes.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If you change phone, lose it or do factory reset, recovering all your accounts can be a painful process.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

You need to use Microsoft Authenticator not just for Microsoft accounts but also for Google, Facebook or Banks.
