What differentiates Meisterplan from other similar products?
The primary differentiator for me was the visibility to manage capacity restraints. Our department struggled managing resources over our portfolio of products and validating our staffing requirements. Meisterplan is an easy to use software to review the impact new projects have on the current capacity of the schedule. As I've used the software I've been impressed at the frequency additional features have been added, but without limiting the overall usability. Not all updates directly impacted my usage, but many have positively.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The visual user interface and ease of moving projects to show how a schedule change impacts the overall was the primary driver towards selecting Meisterplan, and I continue to be happy with the visibility it brings to our group.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The hardest part of implementing the tool has been integrating our companies data into the column filters required for the displays. Originally we utilized an excel tool which worked but a new import feature was created which required adjustment to our data transfer tools. Meisterplan provided a few months of notice to the change which gave time to make the adjustments needed.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Utilize the 1 month trial. There are lots of features to demo and a month gives time to find some of the gaps or unique use cases that will help build a good integration and determine if this is the right tool to use. The customer service team (positive recognition to Achim Gnan here) for the support, questions, and even feature tweaks to help get our software use case up and running.

What differentiates Meisterplan from other similar products?
Ease of use, simple to navigate, easy to implement. Integration with Jira could be a game changer, but multiple other project management suites (eg, MS Project Online) should be integrated.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Portfolio overview and quickly finding and managing projects.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Reporting integration with Power BI is not user-focused. Requires stronger development skills. Internal report is not strong.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Buy it, but think through how to integrate it
