What differentiates Hootsuite from other similar products?
Hootsuite has made it easier for me to manage many social media accounts, schedule posts in advance, monitor their performance, grow my audience by consistently publishing to my feeds, and engage with my followers on all of them. This program has been really helpful and handy for me to use on a daily basis, since I am able to manage my own and my customers' many accounts without losing track of any data or experiencing any delays in material production.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Hootsuite is great since it allows me to organize all of my clients' and my own social media updates in one convenient location. As a bonus, everything is always up to date, so you save time. As a user, I like how easy it is to navigate and how current and upcoming content can be viewed at any time. What I like best about using Hootsuite in my day-to-day life is the ability to schedule social media posts in advance, which allows me to be more organized and productive.
What do you dislike most about this product?
One of Hootsuite's biggest drawbacks is that it only works with a few other platforms. We are unable to use the Hootsuite dashboard to administer our Quora accounts, for instance. However, it does not allow for any kind of direct publishing to LinkedIn profiles.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Hootsuite is a fantastic, low-cost alternative if you require a simple application that will let you schedule posts and analyze results. The cost of a program like Sprout is prohibitive for my modest company. I use social media as only one of many channels, so being able to plan posts in bulk is a huge time-saver for me compared to using the native scheduling features of other platforms.
