The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. What differentiates Gusto from other similar products?
Pure ease of use and consideration for the user experience really sets Gusto apart. As an employee, I look forward to emails and messages from Gusto (I've never felt that way about an HRIS system before).
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The payroll management, and how everything I need from HR ( time off, payroll, benefits, policies, etc.) are all in one place in an intuitive tool. Also love that Gusto allows charitable giving through their platform.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Nothing comes to mind!
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Compare Gusto's end user experience to others on the market. I doubt you'll find one that supercedes it.

Needs more customization with payroll. Ability to put automated deductions on second payroll of each month.

Not everything is automated but Gusto is willing to hear recommendations for improvement.

What differentiates Gusto from other similar products?
Very user-friendly, competitively priced, and represents great value for small businesses. I own several companies and manage payroll for multiple employer accounts, and it's very easy to toggle between them. Employees find it simple, transparent, and extremely easy to use/view their payroll data. Their pricing structure is simple with no hidden costs. I've saved over 50% in payroll service fees compared to the provider we were using previously. Customer support is so much easier to reach, as well.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Affordability
What do you dislike most about this product?
It can be difficult to get clear information about employee benefits, namely health insurance. I remain incredibly happy with Gusto's payroll administration capabilities, but trying to find out more about health insurance options has been problematic.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I highly recommend Gusto after having used ADP, Paychex, and PrimePay over the past 15+ years. Gusto is extremely easy to use, the initial support to set everything up was outstanding, and the savings compared to other services is significant.
