What differentiates GitLab Ultimate from other similar products?
GitLab fixed a slew of issues, including ticket generation, sprint board management, and code commits. What is your favorite aspect of this product?
GitLab is also employed for continuous integration and deployment in a manufacturing process. We have used the bulk of its capabilities, especially the repo and ticket management. GitLab can seem a bit difficult at first. It's especially tough for non-experts from non-software industries to understand GitLab's operations. The platform does not provide a simple and unambiguous means of controlling the repository, so most git activities are better done manually in the console. Upgrades and administration are also challenging.

Software that delivers such a broad range of operational excellence should be included in every company's applications. GitLab enables users to easily store their own code projects and files in a safe and comfortable place, facilitating user collaboration. GitLab easily imports repositories from other Git tools, and it also imports any version history and associated branches.

What differentiates GitLab Ultimate from other similar products?
The testing and vulnerability management features supplied by GitLab are considerably superior to other platforms we've recently used from the standpoint of our security team. Finally, I've found Gitlab to be really useful, particularly in terms of integrating Ci/CD pipelines into our software development cycle for better code quality and faster deployment.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We installed GITLAB on our own servers and configured it to handle a project involving online marketing, applications, development, operations, human resources, and many teams. This relieved us of a significant load. It maintains the high security and flexibility we require to cut check-in times across the company's various divisions. We can also perform code reviews for merging requests and bugs using GitLab. It's also simple to locate the problems.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Only these few aspects of GitLab bother me, it's a little pricey and a little difficult to comprehend for novice users. In comparison to the current method, which I describe as clunky, the request merging process might be much simpler.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
GitLab guarantees that our code is secure and protected, that everything has been versioned, that we can easily communicate with other team members, and that we have a robust QA environment before going live. I use Gitlab, and one of my personal favorites is that we can evaluate the code of our peers, track bugs inside a single merge request, and assign someone to review the merge request.
