No default integrated deployment server and Gitlab does not provide real time analytics for pipeline tracking.

Gitlab adopts a unique authentication system , which is different from any other code repository and collaborative software that I have had experience using so far. By letting me modify and set permissions for different collaborators within my team , I get to define the type of access which every collaborator has to team branches and repositories. I think all of the aforementioned keeps our code as a team , a lot secured.

Am a firm believer that Gitlab serves as an accelerator , in terms of how quickly we are completing software development projects. This is as a result of how Gitlab streamlines version control , code security with continuous integration and delivery ( Ci/Cd) . Gitlab helping to streamline the above three phases of software development in my company, has helped reduce risk defects in projects and surely led to faster product delivery.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The Gitlab user community is not active , unlike what I was used to with Github, which was the preferred code hosting platform in my last company.

Gitlab makes life easier for every person in my companys development team. It addresses a lot of potential pitfalls in software development and just helps to bring everything together.
