One of my favourite aspects of Gitlab Enterprise is its intelligent search capability. With this feature, you can quickly find and filter the information that you need in no time. From issues to pull requests, I can easily search for specific keywords related to a project. This saves me a lot of time when sifting through multiple projects. It also shows me the latest changes to a project and keeps me updated with any new developments.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Gitlab is involved, but there are times when I forget to connect certain Issues, and it's a bit annoying to have some unlinked Issues after a sprint. I wish there was a better way to link Issues and Pull Requests.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's simple to work on the same code now that projects may be collaborated on, which was previously impossible. It has been simple to meet project goals on schedule and with data security because to the safe atmosphere Gitlab has built.

As an example, the integration between Gitlab and our preferred project management software ( Jira ) helps to accelerate specified aspects of our project management workflow, while also helping with automatic detection and cross referencing across all phases of team projects.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Gitlab doesn't provide support for mercurial version control repositories. Likewise, it does not support semantic search. The absence of the latter , leaves us with a slower and less advanced search function for repositories.

Gitlab offers the most complete package for software development lifecycle.

The finest option I could find for the organization allows us to alter it to suit our approach's requirements, whether we use the official framework provided by the tool or our framework. Since this is my first time using something with its capability, usability, and customizability, I enjoy them.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Not all huge files can be supported because they bog down the suite and produce errors. Getting a handle on the workflow takes time and effort. The monitoring and control of updates need to be clarified for users and user groups. They are exceedingly slow and inattentive and frequently let tickets expire. Scaling the product is challenging. Because of this, I can only suggest scaling horizontally.

The GitLab enterprise agile Planning tool differentiates from rival offerings. It provides masterworks, challenges, milestones, objectives, iterations, and all other project planning assets with a single out-of-the-box platform for the project development lifecycle. The tool with the greatest functionality is my favorite, but it runs so slowly when we execute heavy tasks or try to scale it up.
