What differentiates Dayforce from other similar products?

Moved from Dayforce to UKG, world of difference in all aspects of recruiting, talent management, on-boarding, timekeeping, payroll, benefits management, ease of use. Dayforce does not respond to complaint about incorrect billing practices. They are holding our employee information hostage until we pay for invoices through 2024, even though we ended our service with them in July 2022. Numerous emails and no follow up.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It was alright for a time.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The product didn't offer enough uses to justify the expense.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Don't do it! They have the absolute worst customer service and follow up. Unscrupulous tactics used by holding our employee information hostage.

What differentiates Dayforce from other similar products?

At our agency, the way we use Dayforce touches almost every part of the employee experience. Scheduling interviews, managing PTO requests, tracking benefits enrollment, updating performance reviews 鈥 it's all centralized. We even set up onboarding workflows that automatically trigger once an offer is signed, meaning new hires get their paperwork, policies, and intros served to them without us manually pushing every step. What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One thing that makes Dayforce feel like a breath of fresh air is the real-time data updates. I don鈥檛 have to wait for payroll to process or reports to refresh overnight. When someone updates their bank info at 9 a.m., it鈥檚 reflected by 9:01. This real-time nature has been a lifesaver for HR audits, compliance reporting, and even last-minute leadership asks when they need data yesterday.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If I鈥檓 being picky, navigating Dayforce鈥檚 reporting dashboard can get a little... maze-like.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Dayforce hasn鈥檛 just been a nice-to-have; it鈥檚 helped us scale up without breaking a sweat. We鈥檝e onboarded over 40 new hires in under six months, and it鈥檚 handled the influx like a champ. Having consistent, automated workflows has helped us maintain the personal, boutique-feel culture we鈥檙e known for, even as we grow.
