What differentiates CATIA from other similar products?

The powerful architecture of CATIA and the amount of available modules makes that the software fits a wide range of technical needs. Also, a big differential feature is the capability to work with precision with complex surfaces.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

After more than 10 years of using 3D software, my favorite aspect of Catia is the reliability and the workflow for modeling and then the creation of 2D drawings from 3D.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Rotate the models with the middle button (I bought a 3D mouse to solve this issue). Also the high price.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I believe this is the right software for advanced modeling in the manufacturing industry. I recommend using it with a computer with hardware in a mid-high range to have the right performance if you will use it with assemblies with a lot of parts.

What differentiates CATIA from other similar products?

With Catia we can work on complex plans, and different surfaces. Surface modelling is more efficient with the help of Catia

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Conversion from 2D to 3D in just one click is the feature i like the most

What do you dislike most about this product?

The User Interface could have been more easy to use that's a bit complex for beginners

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Users can use it for Drafting and 3D modelling, it is the best in the industry.
