What differentiates AWS Cloud鈥婩ormation from other similar products?

Easy to use. Minimal knowledge required to set up a basic configuration. Documentation of AWS cloudformation and AWS in general is pretty straightforward. Terraform is an alternative but CF is highly reliable on its own.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The scripting languages available are multiple. Python and JavaScript are the best in this regard. It is an excellent tool for automation and since it's Amazon it's reliable. No issues with customer support till date

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing so far. It has been as good as it's contenders.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

You can either select AWS CF or Terraform. If you're ecosystem is in AWS It is best to use Cloudformation and not an external tool like Terraform.
