What differentiates Wix from other similar products?
I used the drag and drop editor while building my blog on Wix and i must say i was impressed by how easy it is to navigate. I was able to place elements anywhere on the page and also stack up pre-designed sections on top of one another to create the page's core structure. This high level of creative control granted by Wix through it's drag and drop editor differentiates it from other website builders which uses a restrictive section-based editor.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of Wix is it's diverse range of high quality templates. While I was building my blog , I had the choice of hundreds of professionally designed templates to help me in my design efforts.This variety and quality of templates made my design process easier, which is something i truly appreciate about Wix.
What do you dislike most about this product?
A few days after creating my blog on Wix, I decided i wanted to switch my template to a more suitable one but I discovered that changing templates wasn鈥檛 an option. I had to create a new blog completely and transfer my files over to the new pages to achieve my desired look. The process was quite frustrating and time-consuming.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you want to build a website with minimal effort, maximum creative freedom and without coding skills, Wix is a great choice.
