How to read the Emotional Footprint
The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.
While purchasing decisions shouldn't be based on emotion, it's valuable to know what kind of emotional response the vendor you're considering elicits from their users.

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
Tableau is not as visually appealing or user friendly. It can have quite slow performance when running more complex queries. I don鈥檛 have time to learn how to get the best out of the product sadly.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Data connections, could connect to a custom app. Also Salesforce won鈥檛 give us a case report. As this is a Salesforce owned product I easily connected tableau to Salesforce and can extract the case object data. I also like the calculated fields easy to create/ resolve issues.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Slow performance. Takes a while to load visualisations or filters sometimes. A bit basic, can probably do more with it but I don鈥檛 have the time to learn.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Do your requirements first. I inherited this product but wouldn鈥檛 have chosen it.
Cons
- Inhibits Innovation
- Slower Product Innovation
- Less Reliable
