What differentiates Odoo from other similar products?

It offers great options for business management tools. It creates a good ecosystem for that which grants ease of switching and data integration. Main positive aspect which I noticed is that it is open source and hence has great potential. Primarily it serves for small businesses but it also does a great job for large businesses from what I have seen in the market. This software provides a simple solution unlike others which give a bit complex approach.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

i first started using this product through its free trial benefit. I wasn't auew if I can spend this much amount for an unknown software. This is a great benefit I suppose who are starting out on exploring and aren't sure yet. My role needed lot of customization and hence this software helped me in that flexibility. Has pretty much everything a professional in this field requires.

What do you dislike most about this product?

When i said customizability is a positive part, it has downside too. You require a technically strong team who can get the most out of this software by good customization. Otherwise it can act like any other ordinary software. Code part is where you need to be careful about a bit. Apart from this can't think of any major reason.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I think if the functionality is made such that an amateur can understand as well, then it would be great as an expert won't be needed for the setup. A user needs to be very clear about the requirements of his or her organization. As the software offers 2 versions out of which the Community one is totally free. So the user can save a lot of money if the free version is going to suffice them. Me and my organization have been really happy and satisfied with this software

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you need to customize features according to your organizational accounting management needs, Odoo is a must have. It also has other functions such as supply chain management, sales and inventory management. I highly recommend this product.

What differentiates Odoo from other similar products?

This software has become our ally in the department, because it helps us to perform daily invoicing without delays and in a simple way. I like that I can create custom invoices or use the system's format, I can also automatically perform recurring invoicing. A software that we also use to track expenses of each project and activity that is executed in the company.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

All billing management is done automatically with the system, as well as other tasks such as payment of suppliers, customers and other recurring payments. It also has a payroll management, where it calculates quickly and without errors the payroll of employees, with their deductions, overtime and more. I found its interface very easy to use and friendly, so we quickly adapt to the program.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Customer service leaves much to be desired, we requested their help to make some links and integrations with some banks we work with and we had to solve the problem on our own, with external help, since the response from customer service or technical support never came. To tell the truth, we find the software very easy to use and very useful, but they should improve much more in their customer service.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

All departments of the organization use Odoo because our HR system is based on it. It handles leave management, payroll management and overtime requests. In addition, it keeps track of the organization's hierarchy with all relevant information and contact details of every employee in the organization.
