Microsoft Azure leveling up cloud storage game

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines from other similar products?
My company has been using Microsoft Azure for a long time now and I should say that this is one of the best cloud computing platforms you will ever come across in your life. It comes with all basic necessity features as well as advanced features that are surely necessary and luxury for your work.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Secure data online is a big relief as well as a big threat if you haven鈥檛 chosen the right platform for yourself. Sharing data online is not just something you might want to take risks for. Our company shifted to Microsoft Azure after doing lots and lots of research on security factors and we found it to be the best in the field.
What do you dislike most about this product?
This is not something that has happened yet but you need to put lots of thought into it. You put all data in one platform and if something happens there is nothing else you can do but to sue the company. The data lost will never be able to return and this might be a big issue if you get unlucky.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
There are a few things here and there but when you look at all the good parts of it, you think that this is all manageable. It's one of the really amazing cloud based computing systems that exists and you should get one because you want the best for your company.
Pros
- Efficient Service
- Respectful
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines from other similar products?
Azure is Linux friendly, which was a surprise for me in my earlier days with this platform. We have successfully ran different Linux and Ubuntu distributions on Azure in the past, with success.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I am a big fan of Microsoft Learn. This is because I have successfully in time past found solutions to problems encountered while using Microsoft Azure. Also, this is very critical because of the slow response rate of the Microsoft Azure support team.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Customer Service response rate is slow and options of contact with customer service agents are limited as well.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This depends primarily on the need, experience and outlook of the team looking to deploy Microsoft Azure.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity

Excellent cognitive services for innovation
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines from other similar products?
What differentiates Microsoft Azure from other similar products are the cognitive services. There are two services in particular that appear to be unique: those are Bing Search cognitive services, and the format of the speech to text API.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform is the cognitive search feature, which returns relevant results from Bing search, which can be fed into finding a relevant image from a contextual text search.
What do you dislike most about this product?
What I dislike most about Microsoft Azure is the complexity of the reporting services. To date, I have not managed to figure out how to have simple reports detailing the usage of products. I also dislike the support services of Microsoft Azure, which were slow and completely unable to resolve an issue.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
At the date of writing, Microsoft Azure offers $200 of free credit for 30 days. I recommend anyone considering Microsoft Azure to take advantage of this, to get an idea if this is a good architectural fit for you.
Pros
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Unique Features
Cons
- Less Efficient Service
- Less Effective Service
- Less Caring
