What differentiates LeanIX Enterprise Architecture Management from other similar products?
The most important for any EA reposotory or tool is the Metamodel, with LeanIX you can personalized the Metamodel but also and the most important you can start SIMPLE. When you see the netamodel for the first time, first impression is... Well missing a lot things here, but actually is not like that, so leanix helps a lot in make focus on the most important, business applications, business capabilities, Architecture Target combining those two data objects.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's user friendly and you can reference data that you have in the metamldel, while you are designing something. I mean you can build some diagrams by using the data that is persisted in the metamodel, I love that.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes I feel that definitely missing more features in the section of Diagrams. As Enterprise Architect you expect to organize the artifacts with a structure very well defined, so I imagine LeanIX adding something like a pluggin for the Diagram section to adopt a structure defined by TOGAF...just missing that in my opinion and having the ability of manage that structure through permissions or priveligies
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
LeanIX is amazing, simple but a the same time very complete. My humble suggestion is to start Simple following Use Cases defined by LeanIX. It's more important to be USA Case oriented than full framework oriented.

What differentiates LeanIX Enterprise Architecture Management from other similar products?
Ease of setup and use. This is a product that is very easy to setup maintain, integrate with other applications, such as ServiceNow, Apptio, Flexera, Collibra, etc. Its ease of use provides business value by means of visualization of IT to Business alignment and helps with rationalization, AI adoption, and Tech risk management with simple to read reports and diagrams.,
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Its flexibility to customize to our needs. and ease to setup reports to help stakeholders make decisions, from multiple points o view, be that business or technology oriented.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Some reports lack flexibility to customize layout that could help facilitate visualization.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
LeanIX's guidelines for adoption of Use Cases such as Application Portfolio Management are very useful. Bu sure to use them as a baseline when implementing it.
