What differentiates Zapier from other similar products?

Zapier are the first one that comes to mind - for both users and vendors who want to have their product in the list of integrations. This makes them the first place to look for when it comes to integrating systems via iPaaS

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The simplicity of defining new zaps.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The lower price tiers aren't meant for heavy consumption or realtime uses.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Try it out. It is easy to start with and reach results with.

Zapier Provides an Imperfect Integration Solution

What differentiates Zapier from other similar products?

Zapier provides more flexibility than software integration products such as Monday.com and Trello.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to receive data via webhook/url, parse it, and branch based on the data received.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As someone with programming experience, I found Zapier's inability to provide basic programming features frustrating. Customer support was frustrating and it seemed that the responses may have been automated (using Zapier?).

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Be aware that their business model is task-based and the best and most advanced features (logical branching for example) are the most task-intensive. Take some time to determine the number of tasks that you need to execute for any given use case and then multiply by the number of anticipated uses to determine the total tasks per use case. Sum the task totals per use cases to determine the overall total (which should be monthly since this is how Zapier bills).
