What differentiates Oracle PeopleSoft from other similar products?
Main differentiator is the Selective Adoption model, whereby the control over updates is left to the discretion of the user on when or which changes to implement. Here, there will need to be a balance between continuing with customizations and benefiting from new features and options highly valued by enterprises with complex HR requirements.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
A strong point is the excellent analytics and reporting it provides. With heat maps, bubble graphs and detailed reports, the platform helps organizations unlock intelligence from data that will drive strategic decision-making and effective workforce management.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Main disadvantage is the performance issue with extensive data handling or complex customization. There is reported slow processing, which hampers productivity and workflow management, especially for operations that are intensive in HR data.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Invest time in comprehensive training and change management. Proper user education will go hand in hand with the leverage of resources or consultants from Oracle to ensure the successful adoption of the system for the maximum realization of its potential. The Selective Adoption model will further be helpful in managing the system updates efficiently.

What differentiates Oracle PeopleSoft from other similar products?
A consistent brand since 2001 for me starting at Chrysler, then Textron and DynCorp, quick help, no delays and friendly staff
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Cost versus the capabilities it gives
What do you dislike most about this product?
I really can not think of any, much better than Paycom, Paycor, Paylocity and UKG
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
make sure you look at apples to apples, like Workday versus Peoplesoft, and not Paylocity to Peoplesoft, different products for different size company's
