What differentiates Microsoft Viva Engage (Yammer) from other similar products?
It is unlike like other programs because it is a product that is very simple to use; anyone can gain access to all of the functions, and using them is not difficult at all.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
When working in a distributed team, this is a fantastic resource for fostering rapport and camaraderie. It's adaptable to the needs of any business or department. Our distributed workforce is still able to communicate and collaborate in a structured, businesslike setting.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Due to the fact that it functions in a manner similar to social media, there is a requirement for the establishment of policies in order to maintain its status as a professional setting.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This app is great since it allows for easy communication with coworkers and provides the most flexible link between two extremes. Images, movies, and other media can all be edited. The software works on both computers and mobile devices. Private messaging is an available option. In general, this is a simple tool to set up and use.

- Great app to increase employee engagement - Bundled with Microsoft 365, all in one solution, make it easy to manage and reduce cost - The Question type of posting, make it easy for user to ask a question and get the answer from their colleagues - Secure, we can set a policy to prevent user from sharing externally (default)

- Yammer has a set of fundamental features needed to create and increase employee engagement within the organization, such as posting, question, polling, praise, community, share picture or attachment in the status - Integrated with Microsoft 365 as all in one solution for productivity
What do you dislike most about this product?
As a social media, Yammer tends to have basic feature, that might not attract users to use it, especially for the first time.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Yammer is a great app to enhance employee engagement in your organization, it's secure and deeply integrated with Microsoft 365 family that will make easier for IT team to manage. The community in Yammer is also great for discussion, learning and development, hobby etc.
