What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?
The overall synchronized Microsoft ecosystem gives it a really fulfilling feelings when we need to handle our multitasking all via one platform. The strong servers also makes it quite reliable to be implemented in a working organization. All of our documents are easily accessible and shared within this ecosystem enabling massive time saving and easy to browse. Thus the integrated Microsoft ecosystem definitely makes it quite unique out there in the market.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Microsoft SharePoint has proven itself to be quite self reliant and versatile for various purposes. As a whole integrated workspace, a reliable document sharing point and a collaboration makes it quite outstanding and a tool to rely on.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The only downfall of this tool is its old user interface and a complex system of settings asking for permissions or different settings. A new user have to be thoroughly trained before letting them onboard with this tool. Both the mobile app and the desktop version have the same kind of user experience which definitely needs to be worked out.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
SharePoint could certainly prove to be the most beneficial if used in the right ways. With the right implementation, you can control and implement its whole system in a unified way. Try to research about it a little and in ways it could benefit you.
