Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Project from other similar products?
It gives you an opportunity to perform all planning on the same page, it assigns the resources strategically according to the budget and time limit, it offers you real time team collaboration and monitor the risks, costs and progress simultaneously. It gives you the application using cost according to the number of projects you want to perform on this software, which means the pricing plan is highly flexible. It gives you the data analysis which makes your decision-making process even easier while it is really user friendly and strengthen the daily collaboration of the team members.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is a very flexible online solution with good project management features including planning, managing, investment portfolio making, prioritizing and linking the tasks. The data on it is easily shareable and can be accessed through web and phone both.
What do you dislike most about this product?
If we need ad-ons to use for any project, all of them have to be bought individually which are really pricey and sometimes the heavy files are not easy to share through this software and are only viewable through MS project.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This helps a lot in the team collaboration and manage the tasks really flexibly but the main drawback of this software is that it has shown not very impressive updates from the past years which makes it relatively slower than the other software.
Pros
- Respectful
- Altruistic
- Acts with Integrity
- Generous Negotitation

What differentiates Microsoft Project from other similar products?
When working on a project with several layouts and/or duties, this helps me to prioritize the ideas as needed. Because it is utilized on the web, it can carry out tasks and portfolios. What makes it possible to be available at all times.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Enables me to observe the immediate consequence of any modification I make to a specific design. It helps me keep track of my funds and analyze the tasks I'm working on. His charts and graphics are excellent at expressing project time development.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It doesn't permit me to properly analyze the work of staff or machines in order to improve productivity. It is inefficient since only roughly 20% of its many functionalities are utilized. It really isn't cross-platform because it only runs with Windows.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The versatility at how a task may be completed, and also the ability to link duties in an effortless and straightforward manner, is fantastic. Strongly recommended.

Great for team collaboration

What differentiates Microsoft Project from other similar products?
I believe that the integration with the Microsoft cloud environment is the main and powerful difference. It can be integrated into Sharepoint, Power BI, and also when I need to do some complex analysis, I can work with MS Project Professional accessing directly from the platform to the software, which is wonderful.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The best is now my team has easy access to the whole schedule, so it's easier to be well aligned and track the project in real-time, saving a lot of time and avoiding weekly meetings to check. Also when integrated with PPM we can have a good overview of what is happening with all the projects.
What do you dislike most about this product?
When I wanted that some of my team members have access to make simple tasks, was needed to purchase subscriptions for them. Also have some limitations compared to MS Project Professional that from a PMO point of view, make Project Online a compliment, not a substitute.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Is a great product, mainly when you have a big team and a lot of projects. You can have a wide-angle view in real-time of what is happening with all the projects.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Security Protects
