What differentiates Google Chat from other similar products?
Google Chat comes with a Gmail account. This makes it free to use and requires no implementation.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Anyone with a Gmail account can use Google Chat with no installation.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Chat is rather clunky and unwieldly. There is a reason that the companies I have worked with in the past who use Gmail use Slack or some other chat product instead.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Be aware that, despite being free, there may be a steeper than anticipated learning curve to getting Chat fully implemented.
