What differentiates Docebo Learn Platform from other similar products?

Docebo Learn provides a number of features that make it easy to customize learning experiences for multiple audiences, giving business leaders and administrators flexibility to create solutions at scale for all stakeholders within the organization. Key innovations like the Central Repository, Page & Menu design and visibility, Question Banks, Content Types (Courses/Learning Plans/Assets) and Content Organization capabilities (Catalogs/Channels) provide endless opportunities to surface content in meaningful ways.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's easy to keep users and content organized, and to track what those users are doing. There's not much more you could ask for from an LMS.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I'd like to see Docebo focus more time on innovating key features like Tests & Question Banks, Catalogs, Channels, etc. They've been very slow to evolve some of the most important capabilities of the platform. They took their eye off the ball the past few years, getting distracted by acquisitions and attempts at "platform plays" rather than focusing on continuing to evolve a best-in-breed LMS. The minimal value that other products like Shape, Learning Impact, Learning Analytics, Flow, etc. deliver aren't strong enough to dissuade me from considering other vendors if they delivered on the core features we need in an LMS.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take their training, learn the product, test it for your use case via a free trial, and ask them lots of questions. Their sales and service folks are all very helpful and very knowledgeable. I've yet to see a learning challenge or program idea that couldn't be delivered via Docebo, even if it may require a bit of "outside the box" thinking. Docebo is built to support "outside the box" designs, but can also function very well "out of the box" if that's what you're looking for. price points are very steep, particularly for additional content

Docebo's people make all the difference. From the rare times we have to contact support, to our super responsive account managers, to the product managers who comb through the community posts and ideas portal and respond to requests and work to implement all the ideas they can - it's a great organization that is run by people who genuinely care about helping use be successful.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the community and the service and support best. Our use case is a little unique in that we train our 1200+ employees, and 25,000+ individuals in 400+ organizations that are our customers. The system is flexible enough to allow us to make sure that the right people see only the content they need to see. We are also using it for hosting all of our Live Instructor Led training and couldn't be happier.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are a lot of features that are so 90% of what we need them to be and they fall just short of perfection.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

There is no perfect LMS, and Docebo is no exception. What makes Docebo a vendor I love partnering with is the great service and support. This is an organization that will take care of you.
